EarthCal is a calendar that connects with Earth's cycles. Use our app to manage and sync your events with the cycles the moon, the planets and the earth. To get know how EarthCal works, click through for a guided tour of the EarthCal philosophy, functions and features.
One Year. One Orbit.
The EarthCycles calendar lets you see each year as a one spin of Earth around the Sun. Click any of the 365 divisions of the EarthCal circle to see where the Earth is in its orbit and to see that day's data. The progression of colors shows the solar and lunar months.
Our Neighbourhood
As you watch Earth spin around the Sun, you can see our planetary neighbours spin too! This not only helps you understand the night sky but also connects you with the much longer cycles of time that each planet's orbit represents (it takes Neptune almost 165 Earth years for its spin!).
Get Lunar
Notice the center of the calendar while you skim over the days of the year? You can see in real-time how the phase of the moon changes over the course of the year. Click the moon in the bottom left for even more live data.
Great civilizations also used the cycles of the great creatures around them to track time. Click on the Earth icon at the bottom left corner to see where the grey whales of North America are in their migration at a particular time of the year. More animals coming soon!
Add Your Events
Use EarthCal to record your events and daily to-dos. Add your one time events and annual cycles (like birthdays!) to the calendar by clicking the top left + for the highlighted date. Google Calendar sync coming soon.
